Hi Jay, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to create my own brand. I wanted to make something where people can feel good about themselves. No matter the race or size of the person we all like to feel good about ourselves. So, I made my clothing brand for people to look and feel like money. Anytime you walk out the door you want to make sure you look good from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. You don’t have to have all the money in the world to look and feel like money. What other way to make people feel good about themselves is for them to wear your brand and your name proudly. Because every day you're not going wake up and feel your best you're not going to always have good days. But when you put on J-MONEY CLOTHING it is a representation to make your day a little better. Because fashion is the best way to let the world know how you feel. Putting on different outfit can change your whole mood.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets my business apart from others is my brand makes you believe in yourself while looking good at the same. I’m most proud of the fact that I did it on my own. I’m excited about showing the world my ideas when it comes to fashion. I got to where I am business wise by never giving up. And not paying attention to what the outsiders had to say. It hasn’t been easy some days are good, and some are bad. I’m still not exactly where I want to be business wise. I see myself still growing and learning every day. My business still had room for improvement and I’m willing to learn for it to reach its full potential. I overcome my challenges by continuing to keep pursuing my dream it is easier to give up then to face adversity. Facing adversity gives you strength to keep going to reach your goal of having a successful business. Some the lessons that I have learned along the way have been to treat everyone with respect and believe in the person idea because you never know how just an encouraging word can help uplift and motivate an individual. I would like for the world to know that I am a humble person from humble beginnings who had to believe in himself. I had a dream that I knew I wanted to come true, and I had to work hard to achieve it. Not matter what people said or how many times I heard no or that they didn’t see the vision I had for myself or for my business to keep going because hard work pays off.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
GOD first and foremost then my family for believing in me when there were times that I didn’t believing in myself. They push me every day to keep going and to continue to make more products for my brand.
